Oops sorry. I thought you meant somewhere else. Yea anywhere in the US will be fine with shipping. However I currently only do MS25,MS28, all Hitachi's except 79fk and soon BenQ drives.

i had a benq but returned it and got the 79fk.. i am starting to think that may have been a bad idea. i could use the quiter drive and the liklihood of flashablity with the benq looks better then the current 79fk options

but looks like i will have to wait on it then

Give it some time. There will soon be a easier way to do a 79fk.

Its less than the price of one game. And yea it is a bit high but I am a one man operation and I already do close to the max amount of consoles a day locally that I can handle. I figure I can handle a few more if I pickup some internet sells on top of my local business. I want to keep the volume at a manageable level so I can get each console done and shipped back out the same day so nobody has to wait longer than they need to get their console back.

About the BenQ. I can rip the cd key out of the firmware so I can spoof a Hitachi or Samsung to replace it with. However it looks like a full BenQ firmware hack may be out soon. I would wait for that since the BenQ is a higher quality drive.

Yes. I just ordered a few chips myself.

But it depends on what version drive you have in it. As of yet the new D2C chip cant be modded. What version Wii do you have?

Nope not yet.

Just did my Halo 360 though. Ripped the firmware from the BenQ and spoofed it to a Samsung. It is nice there is a BenQ solution until a full hack becomes available.

Very professional and helpful. He went above and beyond, not only did he flash my drive but he answered all my questions very quickly and gave me a full helpful answer. My drive works perfectly and it was sent back to me the same day he received it! Anyone that needs to get their drive flashed, send it to Cumberland-mods and you will not be disappointed.

I just wish getting a 79 Hitachi to read the flash was as easy as installing the 79 chip.

What he is referring to is the Hitachi 79 drive. I can honestly say that I have no trouble installing the Passkey chip but dumping the firmware seems to be a hit and miss.

Until I can completely guarantee a successful dump and flash of every 79 drive I come across I will pass on any future Hitachi 79 modding service.

However any other 360 including BenQ drives are welcome.

My experience with cumberland-mods was completely professional and prompt. All my questions were answered in real time and all probs I had were swiftly dealt with and I am a Completely happy customer. I would gladly send all my friends here!

Yea sorry I did not receive yours until after 4:30 yesterday. I got 7 console delivered at the same time so I was unable to get them out last night. But it went out first thing this morning so you should get it tomorrow or Saturday at the latest.

I updated my site to include info to suggest not using UPS anymore. UPS usually dont get to me until after 4pm or sometime as late as 8pm. FedEx gets to me early in the morning which makes it easier for me to get all the days consoles modded, tested and shipped back out before the post office closes.

Also do you live close to Smith Mountain Lake? I used to have a place there years ago before it got too over priced.

Yea thats ok. I been meaning to add it. I keep asking UPS to try and deliver earlier in the day but I may as well be talking to a brick wall instead.

I will be completely Honest. This is the best Modder in the Scene right now. outstanding turn around time, great communication, great pricing... he handles your console with care, and also tests with not only the expensive verbatim dl disks, but with your more common cheaper stuff as well. very helpful and has given good advice surrounding proper backup validation. man what can else can i say? he is located on the east coast, if you ship FedEx home delivery he can have you console back for me at least, in 3 days...and thats over thanksgiving. i will be doing more business with him, and sending him a bunch more. you can trust in Cumberland Mods!

I am doing them but I prefer not to. Remember that if you want to swap the Hitachi for a Samsung you will still need to do all the same things required to mod a 79 just to get the drive key off the drive so you can put it in your new drive you wish to replace it with.

My main goal is ALWAYS to get each console done and shipped back same day. In cases where the consoles get delivered after the post office closes then it gets shipped out first thing the next morning.

I can install it but right now I am so swamped with firmware flashing that I wont have the time to do this until I get back from vacation after Feb 16th.

That depends on what you mean by hack. The drive cant be hacked. BUT it is now possible to read the drive key and spoof data from the drive and use this to replace it with a drive that can be hacked. You can get all the service details here.

I had a 360 with lite-on drive. I sent it in to have it spoofed to a Samsung drive. From the time I shipped it out to the time when I got it back was just under a week. Erick is also very responsive to emails. Overall I was very happy with the service and will be sending in my other 360 with a Hitachi 79 drive.

Are you saying that you've found BenQ's in NEW consoles with recent Mfg. Dates ?

And why switch a BenQ for a Samsung, I have BenQ's and very satisfied with there preformance. The only downfall I see in owning a BenQ is NO readly available transparent DVD covers (to see the DVD spin if you have plexi panels/windows). Window has to manually cut in the DVD drive cover using a Dremel or RotoZip, files, etc.

Ranger/Cumberland Mods did a Lite-On replacement for me. I sent my 360 console to Ranger along with a reconditioned BenQ. The turnaround time was AMAZING, my 360 was back in the mail the day Ranger received the console (knew because of my tracking). Recommend Ranger/Cumberland Mods VERY HIGHLY. If you are like me and are somewhat inexperienced with tiny soldering jobs and have a lite-on DVD then Cumberland Mods is the place to send your 360.

I had a database meltdown on my websites feedback forum. I had rebuild the forum but unfortunately all if lost.

I just placed an order from your website and I'm totally psyched to finally have a Jasper mobo with HDMI - I can't wait.

Just in time to be used with my new 50" plasma....life is good.

Just gotta say that Prestige-Mods is a professionally managed outfit. As soon as I placed my order, I received the standard PayPal notifications and then I received a personal heads up from Erick. He updated me on the status of the order and it's general timeframe of fulfillment.

My order was placed at 3 pm and it was shipped in roughly 2 hours thereafter. Unbelievable!

I have yet to receive the item, but I'm completely blown away at the level of customer service, communication and overall professionalism.

You can't go wrong with these guys. If you're worried or hesitant about ordering new units or service....allay your fears and pull the trigger.

I sent a hitachi dvd board chip to Ranger72 to read with external programmer, his charge was decent in my opinion.. and to make it even better he not only read my dvd key....sent me it in email... and then flashed another dvd drive I was not even going to get from him... gave me a great deal on that and on top of all that sent the drive priority mail which got to me in 2 business days. So the price went from decent to incredible.

Then he responds to every email I sent him VERY quickly... and even helped me with a couple other questions I had (I have been out of modding for a little bit..damn kids lol)

Anyway I hope to do business with Erick again soon, best customer service I have seen on these forums since I have started here. I just can not say enough about it.

As a corollary to my prior positive feedback, I've received the pre-modded system that I ordered from Erick in 2 days. It works perfectly and has the latest and greatest 1.51 firmware installed. My backups boot like a treat.

I'm 100% satisfied. I just want to say thanks to Erick and Prestige-Mods for being so efficient in every facet of this transaction. A++ would buy from again.

I have to give Proper Prompt's to Prestige Mods/Cumberland Mods, I was very Hesitant about shipping my 360 to them, but i took the chance, MAN I WAS GLAD!!!!!!,

i was in contact with Erick, he answered all my emails, we kept in touch, he delivered on his promise,
the same day he got my 360, he emailed and said he got it , them he emails me and said it was done and out the door.

i got it the very next day, 1 minute short of 1 day, you could look at it, and not tell he was in it!!!
my xbox 360 now boot up all my back-up's, with the exception of Wanted: Weapons Of Fate, because that has the Wave 3, hopfully the Ixtreme 1.6 will get around that.

Erick at prestige mods, will help all previous cutomers with the update, again My Man Erick ROCKS, guy's.
Email him about upgrading your 360 drive, you WILL NOT BE SORRY. he's totally legit.

I know my original are now safe from my kids.

Also I noticed you said Wanted: Weapons Of Fate did not work.

Your drive is flashed with 1.51. This firmware will play ALL games and should play all future ones as well. There will be no difference added with ix 1.6 when it comes out. All 1.6 will do over 1.5.1 will add 0800 support to rip your own games by plugging your 360 drive up to your PC

As I posted a week ago...Prestige MODS rock...just had my 2 of 3 xbox 360's firmware upgrade to the latest and as just like the 1st time I had them upgraded with Eric it was completed the same day as received and shipped back out.

Again....if you need it MODDED and you have Eric at Prestige do it you won't regret it.

In order to determine if your console can qualify for this service ALL of these conditions MUST be met.

1. Never have played any new wave 4 or 5 games.
2. not been online since June 2009 (when the summer dashboard update came out)
3. Not banned from Live (if you got banned then you have been online and have had the hack killing update)
4. Not have a console manufactured after June 18 2009 (even with the older kernel)

You will want to try to find a console with a dashboard kernel no newer than 2.0.7371.0.

Currently the demand for the service is a little more than overwhelming. Price goes by demand since I am already getting a higher number of console in daily to jtag than I feel comfortable with so currently the service is $65.00 + return shipping as long as they are not big block Jasper's.

I did sell some used JTAG'd consoles but not any more. With the constant risk of 3rrod happening at any moment I am not selling any more only for the console to rrod a few days after the customer receives is. And finding new consoles that can still be jtaged is all but impossible anymore.

OK, as long as the option for future updates is available through software, that makes sense.

I received it this morning, and I am astonished at how Erick was able to fix the mess I had made. He only charged for the flash itself, repairing the drive free of charge!

I cannot recommend him enough!

Brand new pre-flashed Jasper consoles

Been selling brand new pre-modded consoles for years from my other thread in the Modchip Installers / Firmware Flashers forum. But since this demand has been growing over the years I figured I would advertise in the BST forum as well.

360 Pre-Flashed Consoles

These are all brand new Xbox 360 consoles modded with the latest LT 1.1 firmware. This firmware will load ALL backups no matter what wave version they are. As of now LT firmware is supposed to be Live safe again. However as always use of Live is done at your own risk.

All premods are the Jasper revisions. This means there should never be any more 3RROD errors. All consoles are brand new straight from the store shelf and comes with original store receipt.

Nothing gets touched in the box other than the console itself. Everything else remains sealed. You will also get the original store receipt with the console. All consoles have a built-in HDMI port.

360 Drive Flashing Service

All drives get flashed with the latest iXtreme firmware. Currently the best firmware for Samsung is eXtreme 5.3 and BenQ is LT 1.1 for BenQ, LT 1.1 for Liteon, and 1.51 for Hitachi drives with Wave X support. At this time only LT firmware is safe for Live. Use of Live is done at your own risk!

Xbox 360 JTAG/XBR/freeboot service
For those lucky enough to have a console that can get this hack I am now offering this service.

Before you place your order below please read ALL information here carefully.

In order to determine if your console can qualify for this service ALL of these conditions MUST be met.

1. Never have played any new wave 4 or 5 games.
2. not been online since June 2009 (when the summer dashboard update came out)
3. Not banned from Live (if you got banned then you have been online and have had the hack killing update)
4. Not have a console manufactured after June 18 2009 (even with the older kernel)

As of 5/12/09 (December 5th 2009) If you have kernel 2.0.8495.0 or HIGHER, YOU CANNOT INSTALL XBReboot.

If you have kernel 2.0.7371.0 or lower MAY be good to go.

This is not a fast service. It takes a few hours to wire everything up and dump the nand and flash it. THIS WILL NOT GET A SAME DAY TURNAROUND!

BUT if you want homebrew on your 360 this as of now is your only option.
