1080p is NOT an official HD resolution (reguardless of what BS Sony has been feeding you)

Not to mention the few HDTVs that boast 1080p suppor are really just de-interlacing a 1080i signal. Most can't really accecpt a 1080p signal because it's not an official resolution and the definition of what that signal should look like is not set in stone.

I could start explaining this stuff but before you go any further I suggest you do some reading...

Not really fair on people in the UK as we don't have a choice. Where you would pay $1000 for a good HD TV we pay £1000, $1700. Most can't aford a HD TV in the UK, in fact many don't know the difference as we have nothing that has HD, no HTTV broadcasts or DVD player.

to above post.. the walmart i played the 360 demos at had their TV set at 1080 and it looked great... call of duty 2 especially, looked fantastic.
