There already are/have been a number of performance topics that have turned into fanboy wars. We just don't need another. A question about a TV is less likely to have "fuck you" in a reply.
Many consoles have had "bit fudging," such as the Saturn. Consider that in comparison: Since the X360 has three cores, if MS called each a "128-bit" processor would that make it a "384-bit system"...?
