Me too. I'd pay over $100 for native vga (plus all the supported high res) for a console. It's just still asinine that they would charge that much.
As for the controller priceing... $50 is cheaper than what I expected for the wireless... the Logitec wireless pad for the current gen launched at $70 and only after months and months has it dropped down to $50 (what it is today) for MS to price their brand new next gen 1st party game pad for the low end of the 3rd party wireless spectrum is great IMO.
The $40 tag on the wired controller seems a tad steep to me but I think that's just because they're trying to make the wireless pads look more desirable. It doesn't bother me at all though because I don't plan on buying any wired controllers

so lets put it this way... the SIGNALS are naitive... but the PORTS are not.
Perhaps Xi-Fi will live on in 360?
