Title: Tvu Player To 360
Post by: rjonez on February 22, 2007, 04:25:00 AM
Anyone know if it is possible to stream the channels from TVU Player to the 360 Media Center?

Is there any addons for Media Center needed to do this? Or if people know of any addresses which the channels stream from?

For people who dont know. TVU is a video player which streams channels from across the world.

TVU player uses the technology like bittorrent does, P2P. There is no actual address it streams them from. You can stream them on the original xbox with XBMC if you connect to http://youripaddress:8901 . But you can't do that on the 360, i believe, because they use different codecs that the 360 doesn't support.

I would like to add, you could possibly transcode the live video with whatever program does that.
