Title: Ok X3 Is Installed....
Post by: 00g on March 21, 2005, 11:42:00 AM
I have a current Live account I am going to migrate over to a virgin XBOX.

It's a 1.6 with an X3 and a 120gb Maxtor.

What do I need to do prior to moving Live over to this XBOX to make sure I don't get banned?

This is what I've understood so far.

1) Disable the chip (obviously)
2) Lock the HDD.

Do I need to make sure the HDD has certain files on it?
I turned on "Live blocking" in the BIOS. What exactly will this do? Will I not have the option to sign on Live? or what.

i would backup anything you deem vital and then format the c and e partitions. after rebuilding those partitions to stock, reinstall or copy your backups for c and e. you can use an installer disk with ftp functions or a 4th gen chip to do all this.
