Title: Halo 2 65% Zanzabar Level

:D Its a good game. Oh it is. So i went to the old gamestars live in london today to find a lovely playable copy of Halo 2, note they said it was 65% and it was the same level as all the videos that are floating around. There were two big ass queues each side of this 20ft room they built to look like it was from the game, one queue was to play on the red team and the other for the blue. the red were elites, blue were master chiefs, i was a master chief. The only prob was you had to wait an hour and a half to get a five minute go on it, but it was worth it :lol: oh yes it was. Played just like the original, which is a ok by me, dual guns are just a bit superfly B) , all the vehicals look alot better and feel alot better when driving em, weapons feel better when shooting em, no pistol, but someone somewhere said it was gonna be in, shot gun looks abit different with some little green lights onit about the place, also looks alot better when fireing, think its a bit stronger aswel, also couldnt dual hold this with any gun same with sniper, plasma rifle looks hella better than before, didnt try the ol rocket launcher didnt have time but the grenades look a little bit better, the needler was better in halo 2 but still not my weapon of choice ;) the new gun, i forget its name, with single shot when zoomed in and 3 shots when normal is quite a nifty lil gun handy thing, good for takin people out when their on them big ass machine gun up top, unfortunatly i didnt get to use the elite sword blade thing ma'bob 1. i didnt wanna waste tryin to get it and 2. everyone else was goin gun crazy and i wouldnt have got close enough to use it.
now some minor gripes, but this was only 65% done so they got time i suppose, or they could have changed it already. Getting in to the ghost and warthog was not as simple as past times, i had to be completely facing the side of it and you dont just press x, cuz i did that many a time and it didnt get me in, i had to hold it for about half a second to a second to get in, but then again this could have just been me but it was mighty anoying when u only got 1:30 mins left and u wanna run someone down. Another thing was the graphics didnt look a* they looked b+ but im pretty dam sure that its because they used some cheap asS screens to play it on.
apart from that it was kick ass, not just playin it but knowin that i was amoung the first to play it in the uk.

Cool review. I know what your talking about based on the videos i have seen. That warthog thing seems a little strange, i agree with you. I'm hoping they make the controls and stuff like that fully customizable, that would help a lot. Everyone has their own style and it just sux to get stuck with what they have preset.
Too bad you had to wait an hour and a half, i bet there were a bunch of people in that line behind you too :-p

On a side note i like your avatar, its from cky4, right? Or maybe they just did a spoof on it

Amen! It really is BS that so many console games do not have fully customizable controls (analog sticks, triggers and buttons; i.e. like a computer game). Especially for us gifted few lefties.

I'm starting to get sick of looking at zanzabar from all the movies... BUT I wouldn't hesitate to wait an hour and a half or longer to get a taste of what is to come. <

I was at the games exhibition too....

Halo 2 RULED !

other games...Fable, Doom 3 ( drooool ), Fifa 2005, Pro Evo 4 ( drool ), and this PC game called Imperial (sumthings)....these were the best games on show at the show.

ive seen but not played the only full version game released an yes guys it is the full release version right here in melb australia the band regurgitator are doin a band in a bubble recording reality tv thing in the middle of a glass house in melb me an my buddies sat for 4 hrs watching them play it its one of the best things i have ever seen

I played it at MS Sweden's Halo 2-show at Glorias Lounge here in Malmö (Sweden) tonight... I qualified to the finals, and won the tournament. I won an extremely limited edition Xbox... Only 3 of a kind in the whole world... =0) But I sold it to some dude for 10000 SEK (Swedish currency that is, about 1350 US dollars) plus I also got a green transparent Xbox besides all the money... Great deal huh? =0)

I really showed them how Halo is meant to be played... I got 47 kills in just 10 min. on Zanzibar, king of the hill... The runner up had 33 or 35 or something like that... Total domination by me!!! I rule!!! =0P *Happy*

I'll post some pics of the Xbox that I won... It was really cool. Will have the pics in a couple of days... Stand by if you want to see them. =0) <

Ive played this level too.It was tolerable but I didnt really like it.
I have to say its more difficult for me to kill people.I dunno why cus I run shit on XBC with classic HALO.
I would be much happier if HALO 2 never came out and everyone would just keep playing Hal0-(0)ne

sorry forgot to post my thoughts.....7 out of 10.
its like rainbow six which sucks ass......and they even ruined the selection menus
Halo 1 was simple menu selection that worked...just because you release a newer game doenst meant you shit on all the convention that worked with halo 1....the selection menus are twice as complicated now i hate people who try to fix stuff when its not broken

ghost recon is a squad based tactical shooter. You if think you can play it like any other fps than you are missing out on a great game. Especially online play... fantastic online play.... glitchy as hell but man It's still freakin fun.

after the review on teamxbox .... i want the game .......

its rated a 9.4 and halo1 was 9.7 .... i never played but hearing that the screen shakes while shooting makes it sound more real.... if u shot a pistol im sure that ur hand would fly, wouldnt stay still.... Halo 2 producers took that to their heads and made a more realistic game..... but when i get the game tom...
which i didnt preorder because of the dissapointment of the 3 year release...

wtf... bungie better make this game unbelievably outstanding....

well yea.... Im posting this because im hearing bytching about a game that i waited 3 years for......
