are your IGR on?, turn it off.

When you say it loads to the 'Settings' screen, what exactly do you mean? XBMP should boot to Music, Videos, Pictures, and Settings (a selection screen with these options).

If I were you, I would try installing another version of the executable. There is nothing in the settings that would make XBMP exclude Music, Pictures, and Videos on the start page.
