Anyway I havent spent much time but seems people like it so I will spend the time now. What id like is this any
1 Top 3 things each person would like to see. I will look at each case but if its common id say it will go in, if not ill give reason why not.
2 Background pics people think could work this could include animated gifs.
3 Anyone that knows what they are doing with making xmls to convert over to widescreen and NTSC, I can do this and will do this but help directed right can speed the process, I would like to keep fixs in house with me and KotiX for a while as it gets out of control and can be managed better.
When skins out properly I would encourage Mods to pop up anywhere, many BAD I bet, but out of the fire will come some gems im sure. Everything including layered PSDs will be released for public. So dont complain about it being locked at the moment its to control stuff if you want it in we can talk about it no worries.

Here are things Id like to see:
1) A little sub menu for shares/bookmarks. Explanation: Rightnow when you go into my videos, it goes directly into the bookmarked section (in my case its movies on the PC), and if you want to pick something from a different you hit back and see all the bookmarked shares, now what i am talking about is kind of a toggable little submenu, kinda like some skins display the scripts, press a button and a little transparent list comes up that you can choose from, this way the bookmarks can be selected.
2)For back ground I think a mixture of static and gif would be great, some ideas would be if you had a pic of a tv in the background, you would have a gif image running in the tv....or maybe a mosaic of pictures that are all gifs, they all start once the other is finished).
3) if there is room, maybe weather on every single page, like in the bottom left corner, and also track/album info as well if playing.
4)...well i have some more ideas, but the wife is saying dinners ready so will add more later....lol

When sorting through the Movies view.
Instead of seeing just a bunch of ICONS is there any way to like split the screen so whatever Icon you are hovering over displays some taged info from IMDB. Like the Movie summary - run time - rating / number of votes - cast /etc ....
I've always wanted to be able to view the IMDB info and launch the movie directly from that screen
Possible or not - I'm Looking forward to seeing the finial project.

i've been slow on the uptake of this skin...mainly cos i've just got my box modded and im still getting to grips with xbmc in general...but the skin looks sweet, and i'll be testing the next update. can't really comment on features i'd like etc seeing as i haven't used it.

OK KotiX did alot of work and added buttons, I completetly redid most things although it doesnt look much diff the size of panels is diff and added all latest fades. New CVS took some time to impliment had to add alot.
Right now its pretty much going, but if you give me to weekend ill tidy (needs quite abit of cleaning up position color etc) it up alot and release a Beta of a working skin in 4x3 and partially in 16x9 or do you want to see a rough working skin.

RSkillz go with other skin this skin will not in any way be like beasts one sorry and bars are on left and right side dont know if you only looked at pics as I suspect as at times bars are only on right and other times only on left.

wouldn't it be nice to navigate the tabs with the left and right triggers? no matter where you are? and, for example, saving the location (i.e. music/any_folder/any_album) when changing the tab (i.e. to games), so when you come back to music-tab, you are right where you left music-tab. and then, when you press "back", you first get to the home-music-tab; pressing "back" the second time gets you to the home-tab. would be great, i think.
the fast up and down could be located on the left thumbstick as well, so there would be full functionality.

wow, that would be pretty cool to make a similar Web interfaced to match. I can try in the meantime, although i'm only so good with web design. I wouldn't think it would be very difficult since the overall approach with website design is easier then making a skin. And that part i've been dabbling a lot with already.

I think that a lot of the content that went into the xbox360 was taken directly from the alternate dashboards that are available today (i.e. EvoX, UnleashX, Avalaunch, etc.). This time areound M$ looked at these dashboard and said "Why don't we do that? The people want it. It could sell more!".
You could argue no but c'mon. Streaming media from a pc, And the real kicker, Shut it off from the dash itself. I really think that M$ got a lot of help from us.

they honestly make the skin look a billion times better.
even if you dont want to keep it that way, maybe make it an option in a Readme about how to change some files to put it in.

Yeah, i was going to suggest the exact same thing. Maybe use the left stick analog up/down to fast-flip through titles instead of triggers so the triggers can be mapped to toggle between the Tabs.

PLEASE! do not add any XBOX 360 crap pictures to your beautiful skin..... It would be like putting big old White Armani letters on an Armani Suit. Or like putting those CAR MANUFACTURER stickers on a car.....duhhh I know it is a FORD, but thanks for pointing it out! We know it is an XBOX....we spent enough hours inside and out of it to realize this....no need to plaster it all over the UI.

I've been using this skin for a couple days now. Props to britneypairs for an awesome skin. Just one thing though, I use xlink regularly with XBMC and noticed when you enter the xlink part of the skin, it still loads PM3's skin for it. The xlink notifications are PM3's also and the pop ups are to dark to read. Britney, can you skin that part so it looks like the 360 skin. Thanks again for the great skin, I plan on using it as my default as soon as all the bugs are fixed (not saying there are many)

Am i missing something here, but i can't see how to get to the scripts. At least when you go back it only displays "Reboot Shutdown Shutdown in 15 Mins". And looked everywhere else and didnt' see where to access scripts. Or was this accidently left out? Just wondering, in case i was just to tired tonight because of work. Adding my congrats on all your efforts on this skin (and other projects)
As a newbie trying to learn all the jargon and pick up some pointers, is there an FAQ or How To... anywhere on compressing textures, skinning etc? I did some editing with Fireworks for a French guy who did a 360 style skin, but that was very simple. I'd like to go to the next level.
Anyway to you and the other pros - keep up the good work. XBMC rocks - regardless of which skin you use!

its only a shut down menu I have some other stuff in keymap, Id like to release a totally pimped xbmc with 100s of changes big and small, but its hard not to disrespect the team that have worked so hard to perfect a great product. With all my personal changes

Adding my congrats on all your efforts on this skin (and other projects)
As a newbie trying to learn all the jargon and pick up some pointers, is there an FAQ or How To... anywhere on compressing textures, skinning etc? I did some editing with Fireworks for a French guy who did a 360 style skin, but that was very simple. I'd like to go to the next level.
Anyway to you and the other pros - keep up the good work. XBMC rocks - regardless of which skin you use!

I'll update The Orbs for sure and probably work on this one too, let me just say that I was expecting something more from BP, like the Xlink screen or some new graphics, but it's ok.
