Added ability to disable ftp cache (XML attribute: cache="0" or "1")
Added ability to generate log of ftp activity for debugging (XML attribute: log="0" or "1")

Fixed passive move
Fixed timeout problem causing failure to detect disconnection
Fixed bug causing scanlevel attribute in XML to be ignored

Fixed bug causing Avalaunch only to download one save game
Fixed bug when applying save games for games that hasn't been run yet
Rewrote about/credits

Fixed bug causing IR-Remote not to work properly when no controllers are connected
Added default menu when XML is corrupt or missing
Added quick launch recovery mode that loads default settings only (hold Y+A+BACK during boot)
Fixed bug causing all manual items appear after the auto generated items when composing the menu lists
Changed default background image file to background.png (will load background.jpg if the png file is not present)
Changed background image to menu.png (when in the main menu)
Changed background image to launch.png (when launching applications)
Changed some colours in the settings menus
Moved the cube a bit further down the screen

*** Don't use the autoupdater to get this file. TJ is on vacation, so I can't get it updated. ***

Not yet. Still working on the toolkit. I guess I'll have it in there by 0.50 or something.

But I changed the gfx a bit. People kept nagging about it, so I figured the only way to shut them up was to make it look nicer. Although this set back the skinning development quite a bit... You know how these things are smile.gif

Yeah.... just wait until you get full blown into it. People will discover ALL SORTS of things you never imagined about the skinning engine, good and bad.  rolleyes.gif

I'm wondering if anyone else has problem with the FTP in Avalaunch.  I thought that Avalaunch took away the filename limitations for the xbox by allowing >40character filenames and weired characters like ~ and stuff.  But I can't upload the same files that won't upload with evox... any thoughts?

Great work dudes, now i switched to Avalaunch.
But one thing left i want would be, Left Trigger move up, 3 different speeds as it is analogue , and Right Trigger the same, just downwards. Would be cool to have that.
Other then that, its great work, and its becomming your era of
being the supreme dashboard.
Thank you and keep it up!

mp3-playback was taken out, because mpglib's code is so buggy (iirc).
but what about mod-playback? should still be in there, but doesn't work for me...

I got MP3 working

Try setting it to

No file names, and it should work.

Looks good, I'm downloading it now. It looks like I may be switching my default dash this time! Good work guys!

BTW what is some good dashboard background music?. I noticed in the one avalaunch preview video released they were playing Korn - b.b.k.

The Nexgen christmas release also had some cool background music. What do the rest of you have for your dash song?

CODE
F:\apps\avalaunch\mp3\

Wich means, you can't put a mp3 file in path, like

CODE
F:\music\background.mp3

Edit: had to use code because it automaticly was "F:appsavalaunchmp3"
Edit2: damn!
Edit by >lys<: fixed your backslashes smile.gif

If you own the cd and can rip this song from it [or get it any other way wink.gif], you have to listen to "Royksopp - Epie" from the
"The Chillout Annual 2002".

Not into this type of music? That's ok, I'm a metal head and would seriously rather be listening to American Head Charge or Killswitch Engage, but I have to tell you, thsi song is the best sounding menu music ever made tongue.gif

It's actually "Eple" not "Epie"... Took some minutes before I found "Epie", and found out that I got it..  huh.gif

Your right... That is good menu music. Funny thing is there are Eple and Epie references that Google throws up. Eple is the one to look for though.

"Eple" means apple. It's Norwegian smile.gif

And yeah! It's great menu music. I have some Death in Vegas tunes set up on my box though...

Ehum, I think that should be Rรถyksopp smile.gif

BTW, a way to pause the music while playing would be nice to see in the next release.  wink.gif
