You can't buy this if you aren't MS retailer. Example: Circuit City, Best Buy etc.

I work at Circuit City and i already bought 2 subscription cards.

I got mine in about 4-7 business days...I ordered on 4.27 I believe and I got it about a week later... 29.99 for crimson skies, a new headset (My communicator was broken) and a year, considering I started with a 2 month trial account, I ended up with 14 months for 29.99 =)

I think CS is on backorder though, but you can get the 12 month sub cards for 19.99 all day long.

i dont think it would really matter if you bought it and you dont work for an ms retailer. i just bought a card and i think i mite buy another if i find out they dont expire.

i bought the crimson skies kit and the card that came in it doesnt have an expiration date. im sure u can make a new gamertag. thats mad stupid.

you dont have to change your gamertag. all you do is enter the code and you got another 12 months

ive had this same (404) problem all day today... maybe too many poeple are doing this who arent actually a part of one of those companies and they pulled the plug? or maybe just some server problems. anyways im just gonna try in regular intervals. ill post if it works

i made it all the way to the payment screen, then backed out because its on backorder... and still 26 bucks after shipping.

granted its a years worth saving me.. damn... 52 bucks... but with all this banning going around... who knows... eh, just decided to go ahead with it.

I ordered mine the 18 and I still havent got mine and it was on backorder when I placed the order I got it ground shipping and I just e-mailed them.  Hopefully I'll get a response.

Edit: Just recived e-mail they are still on back order for the live package well I hope to get mine soon in time for halo 2

Alright I hate to bump this because of the billions of posts in the xblive section but I'm going to anyway.

Does anyone know the status of the Crimson Skies Starter Kit?  The posts above say November 12 but its the 15th and I still do not have a email saying it has been shipped.  If you know whats going on with them please post.

I just called M$.  (btw the number on the email is wrong to call and check the status of the order call 1-888-672-1355)  They said that the 12 month xbox live starter kits were expected to come in on December 1st.  So hopefully not too much longer...

WOW! I completely forgot that i ordered this, but i just got home today and checked my email only to find a email from ecompanystore saying that the 12month starter kit i ordered way back when has finally been shipped today.  I thought they forgot about me, 'cause i even forgot i ordered it. lol.  Dang, and i just went out and bought a head set also, oh well, now i got two.
