The new XB1 controller is a CG (Common Ground) setup for all of the Buttons. The Triggers are also in a setup where they go Lo when pressed, but they are a bit more complex than the 10k Potentiometer style that its 360 predecessor sported, more detail on those later.

it's D20 on your first picture it's the button power board top picture there is one located on the other side of the controller to the left of the micro usb port if you wanted to know what the D20 is..
I already know what everything on the boards are, I did a schematic of it as soon as it was released.
Dead rising 3 uses them for the zombie smash option in the game so far the only game i have seen use it besides netflix
You never cease to amaze, RDC. Thanks for sharing.
Has anyone installed any LED's into these controllers yet?
@ nik138 - Sorry there, I didn't get any notification of any replies in here or I'd have responded sooner. The closet thing I have found for a match to U3 is an MP3414, made by MPS. It provides the 3.3v for the entire controller, so you could have an issue with it, or with almost any other IC in there that uses the 3.3v from it.
Does anyone know a website where i can get just the MCU Board replacement?
