Title: Another Annoying Xbit Question

ok i setup my modchip did the flashing turned it on and i get the green light telling me it's on what else do i do. When i turn it on i get the reglular MS xbox logo. Did i forget something?

Nope your away!!!

Your modchip was a sucess. I think that you thought that there was going to be some kind of sign that it had worked.

Well. If you do want a sign. Download xbtool (search on google) and open up your bios. There you can edit it (change colourof xb logo etc) . Then flash it again.

If i didnt explain it enough, complain! wink.gif

crap i thought i screwed up and i removed and installed it again now the green light is gone :(

ok. the basics. Most likely your little pogo pins arent on the contacts. Wiggle em around a little and make sure there touching exactly!

oh yeah should the dip switches be configured in a certain way i kind messed around with those after i removed the cheap

Yes. They have to be set to where you you installed the bios. Check the xbit website. Look at all the guides.

ok done just had to screw the thing tightly. anyways the only thing to do now is to use the evox cd rom or something like like that right?

nevermind i didn't read the instructions before burning it onto disk now i trying to figure out how to the red/black x2 and yellow cord from my old hard drive
