You can use the same cfg file as the original blue skin.

It was pointed out to me that the Ipod skin is having some problem with text overlapping the images..I'm sorting it out either in 30 mins or tomorrow some time.

Not sure what's up with allxboxskins.com... they've been down for a couple of days now, so who knows if they've got the xenium section set up yet or not. (??)

In the meantime, I'll pin this topic, temporarily.... But I suggest also posting your .cfg file contents with your skins, as well.

Right I've sorted my problem with not being able to test them, it was all down to my fucked up HDD, so I dropped in an old one and place my skins on it and they work.

Oh and by the way bjx, I have a transparent menu block/square in my skins, i just made the background colour white (000000), so if you look at my skins you can still see details from the background through the menu. I'll mess around with them more until I've got the cfg file good then I need somewher to host it all.

Yeah I have a photobucket account thats where I hosted my skins that are on page three, I've got the cfg file for the first one set up just right, so i was going to host the whole thing as a rar file, i just need to find a decent free hosting site for it.

After playing around with that a bit I was able to make the skins turn out pretty much how I wanted...

Though I have a question... this might be a bug, or it might just be the way it was written but whenever there is a horizontal menu (like OK/Cancel, or TSOP/Flash/HDD) the color of the highlight is the dialog border color rather than the dialog highlight color. Not sure if this is meant to be this way, it would be nice if I could set the high light independent of the border.

This skin setup is pretty simple (I especially like the auto font resizing), and has some great potential I can't wait for transparencies and font selection to become available.

Also another question, is it possible to make "comments" in the CFG file? I'd really like to tag the config file....

These are all made from photographs that I took myself (no rip-offs here   )

Also I highly recommend actually installing the skin and taking a look at it before you pass final judgment, as I spent a lot of time tuning the colors and placement of the menus to blend nicely with the back drop...

That MS Dash one is looking cool. Is it OK if we take skins from dashboards (with the author's permission of course) and use them for the XeniumOS contest? I was wondering that because that MS Dashboard skin isn't really his design. Would that count?

go to www.teamxodus.com. download the file, put it in the root of your E:\ drive, then enter recovery mode in the xnium os. Thats it.

with the folder and the skin i wanted ( with .cfg and a jpg), but when i put this on, and i go to the setting, the only skin i can have is the default, as there is no others??

I have to say that I'm with Masamune on this one...I have supported the Xenium since day one etc, try to further it's customer base by acting as a free-agent for Team Xodus if-will and now after winning a contest they hosted I get stiffed from any communication from them...I haven't recieved an email...nothin...And it isn't as if $100 is a big deal to many but in my situation right now in my life it is...

So many people come into the Team Xodus forums outraged in their poor customer service/being late with all their promises and whatnot and I always backed team Xodus...but now I know that maybe me and just bout every other die hard Xenium fan that did this might have been wrong...

Me and the other skinners make this feature of Xenium's worth being there and makes it shine next to the competition which now feature the same if not better customization of the menu yet when we are promised something as simple as a $100 cash prize or a congratulatory email we recieve nothing...c'mon...

I don't think Team Xodus is a terrible organization NOR do I say the Xenium is a bad product because I still truly believe that it was ahead of it's time and delivered but I do know that whoever is head of the public relations needs to be fired and seriously looked over by the rest of the team...I hope this get resolved soon because it would be horrible if all contestant winners went ahead and told the community about this...Team Xodus will become a laughing stock....
