Here at University of Missouri-Rolla, a great engineering school in the middle of nowhere chose old st.patty as a pseudo mascot as he is the patron saint of engineers. So back sometime in 1908 a bunch of guys wanted to start a big tradition, as this is the short version, it has been a great tradition and now we have a 2 week long celebration, drinking starts this week, so everyone on our forums gets st. pat avatars as a little part of the festivities. So I thought I might try bringing a little tradition here. as this can be done for any holiday
