check out the sattelite feature - there isnt any good coverage of the UK yet, but you can pretty much zoom in to your own back yard if you live in the US!

The white house is blurred out - you can still see the surroundings though. I cant find the Pentagon building though.

Yeh, they seem to be down at the moment, it happened earlier aswell, but they were back within 15 mins.

EDIT: for us brits there is multimap.com - not nearly as good, but its still cool.

Shits pretty tight, but the images are atleast 2 years old cuz I checked out my school, and the stadium had yet to be built.

Silentscream__, what you showed is NOT the white house... It is the US capitol building.  The white house is due west and about a block north.  The pentagon is to the south west, across  the potomac river. <

Area 51 does not exist  dry.gif  - that is just a glitch in Google Satalite Imagery. <

the filter blocks the site out, but I've been using terraserver for a few years to freak people out. http://terraserver.microshaft.com

you cant zoom in that much... my lot is about 200 ft and still tiny on the site.... and its old by atlest two years because there is construction next to my house in the pic : /

I like how bit torret has spread so much, ie Nasa using it to distribute files, various MMOs, and many other groups that use it, but people who don't know still think it's just another Peer to Peer piracy program thru and thru.
