This is horrible!! I just bought an xbox 360 arcade.
Tried to install the chip.
I get error code 1001(1 red light) when I try to turn it on with the middle green light constantly blinking.
I tried using the alternate A/I points. I removed the chip, and then turned on the console and it worked fine, then resoldered everything, same error.
(I am very confident my soldering is correct, I have installed 20+ modchips)
It seems like the xbox 360 may be monitoring a change in voltage maybe? I have no idea. But has anyone else had these problems. I am in desperate need of help!!!!
