About right, you can also dual NAND with demon tool so you can install freeboot and bypass back to stock for live play trinity board in the slim support this option.

like xkey you can also try wasabi for the slim but wasabi doesn't have much support unlike the xkey that has a lot of support.

Update to the latest firmware for your drive.

1. adjust the POT on the current drive. Google it.

or

2. Buy a replacement drive. This should be the same as your current drive (recommended).
