regardless, its a good sign to see games that were considered "sonys babies", come over to 360.

Well I played the HELL out of the very first one on the PS1. With only 1 track you got VERY good at it  

I played another PS1 Ridge Racer game a few years after that, it had some lame story mode. and I kept winning and the people I could "talk to" kept saying the same 3 phrases of encouragement. I eventually stopped playing out of boredom.

I'll give it a whirl if it hits the 360... I'm always up for an arcade racer
