Legthal Enforcers
Mad Dog McCree
Drug Wars
Sunset Riders
Gunstar Heroes
Robocop Vs Terminator
Revolution X
Terminator 2
Viewpoint
etc.

those were the big rail shooters back then that I can think of. Virtual Cop was a Sega Saturn game, maybe 32X but definitly not genesis.

Maybe if you gave some context... was it a western? modern day? future sci-fi? that will narrow down the list a lot.

there was a punisher game for nes and genesis that was like that.

only the Nes punisher was like that, the genesis was a conversion of the "final fight" like arcade punisher game.

I think know what you're talking about...but when i played it i used that big menacer gun...it was on the 6 in 1 cartridge...i think it was called Rockman's Zone
