Thread: Xbit now supports v5 XBOX Poster: Arakon ----Posted: Oct 6 2003, 07:06 AM: uhm.. any 1.3 capable mod works with 1.4 and 1.5 xboxes. on 1.4, you just need a 5101 based bios (evox m7), on 1.5 you need a 5101 based bios and to solder 3.3V and GND to the proper pins on the lpc port. that's all. |

Compatible with V1.0, V1.1, V1.2, V1.3, V1.4 and V1.5** (**soldering required) |

did you get it to work? |

From: modrobert Location: Team Xecuter Chips - Read In (LPC looking possible) thread I made a XBOX v1.5 diagram with GND and 3.3V fix for the LPC bus rather than any specific modchip. A three year old kid could probably make a nicer diagram, but hopefully you will get the "point". The LPC area photo was shot by andy@warmcat and is from an old v1.0 xbox, but it looks clear and fix points are same, couldn't find any good v1.5. |

Also guys, I just helped a friend install an x2.2 in a 1.5 the other day, and the chip needed 5v as well (used for flashing). |

Now that's the kind of post I was looking for....ty. I have a 2.2 Pro on the way for another v1.5. Q: Did you install a 2.2lite/+ or Pro? A pic/pics would be awesome if you could..of the modified solders that had to be made. Curious where you drew the 5v from. |
