Title: Windows Media Audio Professional Decode
Post by: NicholasBedworth on September 02, 2005, 12:43:00 PM
I would like to kinow which Windows Media Audo codecs will be supported on the XBox 360. For example, can it decode Windows Media Audio Pro, including multichannel and lossless modes? How about 96/24?

We assume that the resulting digital stream will go out the TOSLINK connector to a receiver or external sound card product.

We understand that the XBox 360 handles DD/DTS, etc. Does it decode these in the box, or just strip off the digital data stream and pass it to an external decoder in a receiver of sound card?
