Hopefully you've managed to upgrade yourself to the New Xbox Experience already!

Some people are reporting having trouble logging on to Xbox.com to sign the new Terms of Use. If that includes you, try signing this through your Xbox 360 console instead.  That is probably your quickest and easiest route back to Premium Creators Club membership status.

We've also got a new area just for Xbox LIVE Community Games over on the Xbox.com forums. This will be where we can send those earnest voices that don't necessarily want to make a game, but simply want to offer their opinions on the games created. Each Community Game will have its own thread created once it is available through Marketplace.

On Creators Club we've opened up the last piece of the site to the Creators -- the "My Business" portion of your profile is now live. If you're selling a Community Game or plan to sell one you need to give us your information there so we know where to send the check!

This is a pretty incredible day for all of us. We've managed to do something that no one has really done before. We've opened up the console and given independent game developers a chance to sell their work to the millions of Xbox LIVE gamers.

Our creators have submitted more than 30 different games that you can download now through the Community Games channel on the New Xbox Experience. Each game has something incredible to offer and speaks to the potential that waits beyond today. We really can't wait to see what happens next!

Well....In London that's how it's spelled....But in America we spell it "check".....Probably for the same reason we drive on the "wrong" side of the road....

so say for a 200 or 400 point game, i wonder how much the dev sees off of that.  also, has anyone bought any of those games from here?

How do you navigate to the community downloads? I spent 10 minutes searching for it on my xbox but couldn't find the section. Its not in arcade section or any where. Or do we have to us a computer to purchase the games.

Sign into LIVE
Press UP 2x to get too Game Marketplace and press A on Explore Game Content window (should be first window)
Press UP 3x to get to Community Games.

Explore and have fun smile.gif

Now if someone can tell me how to download them I would be happy. I get the message "This account is not permitted to download content with this rating". I checked all my Parental Settings and I am 100% unlocked. I know it is not a "child" account because when I'm in the parental settings I have a few greyed out options that say I need to either create a child account or insert a memory card with a child account to access them.

I created a dummy LIVE account and it seems to work just fine so I can still get and play them ... just be nice if it was my main LIVE account so I don't have to change profiles.

Any suggestions, ideas or even a fix would be greatly appreciated.

TIA, Sepioth

Yes I am in Australia as well. I am starting to get pissed that we have been shafted. Looks like time to sell this crap system as Microsoft doesn't care.

the question is, do you actually thing Sony or Nintendo would care any more. I think that with time, the larger xbox markets will get similar functionality, it will just take time as I think the international licensing issues be tricky. Unfortunately, this may mean that Aussies are further down the list of priorities. I see that IF anything was to change and expand beyond North America, then the UK market, and the ever increasing Japanese market would be next... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

It appears that Australia is currently not allowed to access the games.

See this thread HERE. A XNA MVP answers the question.

reviewed and helpful. Shame as I was looking to support this feature, even if the games are basic now as I am a supporter of community effort.

Thanks for the update and link.

Well your not missing much. from what i can tell most the games at this point are crap. I havent tried all 32 yet but what i have tried hasnt been better than anything you can play for free at a flash games website.

Thats not to say they wont get better over time, or maybe Ive missed some of the better ones

Jus in case anyone else needs the info. I found out why I could not download the community Games on my LIVE account. I had "Member Content" in my profiles privacy settings set to Friends Only. It needs to be set to Everyone.
