Title: "f Drive Items" Replaces Games...
Post by: myffonline on August 19, 2003, 04:45:00 PM
Uh, not sure if this'll work, I'm a newbie myself, can't check it with my xbox at the moment, so this is from memory. Try pressing "Y" then go to config, you want to change the style from "By Drives" to something like "Apps & Games", then reset you menu cache and reboot.

I could be wrong or misguided but any answer is better than no answer at all..

You changed the menu style option, then reset menu cache and REBOOTED?

Is there an MXM.xml or menu.xml file in the same directory as MXM?

Thanks BJ,
yes to question 1.

there is a menu.xml in the same folder as mxm which is:

C:

edit: Doh! it's back. tongue.gif what do you think might've been the problem?

Yes, the AutoCfg options only apply when you don't have a menu defined yourself (The "easy way").

When there's a menu.xml file, it will override those settings with the items and submenus it defines.
