So what are everyone's opinion on the new game BLACK that is comming out tomorrow???

I'm in Aus and get it a day before you Americans do (time zones). (And I got it pre release too...) From what I have played so far, it is AMAZING! This is the game you need surround sound for. Crank up the bass and use the SPAS - 12! Great fun, recomended for all who like shooters.

I've been playing a preview copy (xbox) for a couple of days now and it's a solid (but pretty simplistic) run-and-gun fps. Graphics are superb and it's a lot of fun in short bursts, but I'm not sure how long it'll hold my interest.
If the tech comments in recent PS2 reviews are accurate it will definitely be the best fps on PS2, but it seems a little lacking when put up against the best xbox shooters.

yea the inability to jump is kind of lame as well as the non-existant gore.  other than that its pretty fun, the explosions are awesome.

You know what?  I have to admit that, yes there are a few flaws, but for right now....this game kicks ass....and did I mention that the soundtrack option is the shizzzznit????

What can I say...I love AC/DC, but who doesn't?

i hate the LONG secvenses where u gotta see the shit shat for 10 minutes between each mission.. i guess there will come an patch for it soon,, like the intro of far cry.

i think i just beat Black. there's only 8 levels? if so, that's lame. when the 2 guys are talkin at the table dude with glasses says, "let us begin" then the credits scroll up like it ended and takes me back to the beginning of level 8. anyone else getting this?

Yes, this game is rather short. It has however awesome graphiy and sound and above all: lots of debris. You can easily beat this game in less than 8 hours. But not if you try to beat in on hard and black-ops difficulty, too. I am currently sturggling on the last level on hard. Actualy, in the last room, even. Anyways, it's a great game, that will still give me a few hours of fun.
