This link says that you can't stream video from an XP machine only a Media Center machine... is this true?
Are there any loopholes to get video's on a XP machine to the 360, either via streaming or transfering to the HD?

p.s. I've got XP pro, if that makes a diff.

What if I have a Media Center PC, but I want to stream video from a XP PC, will that work?

i.e.
XP PC -> Media Center PC -> Xbox360 ?

Or do the files have to be on the Media Center PC ?

i'm 90% sure the file share has to be on the media center pc. someone else can confirm.

just wanted to make sure you know, this will let you stream movies, music, and pics, its not going to let you send games or homebrew over (you probably already know that, but i see alot of people that think hooking the 360 up to the computer means the same thing as hooking the xbox up to the computer)
