Patching Games After Using Hddloader

I have not used HDDloader yet, but from what i understand it copies the game from the cd straight to your hard drive.  My question is, how would you patch the newer games without having to copy the entire game to your pc?

ScOrPiOn-X is correct, but there are still some games that need extra patching (Enter The Matrix). Goto Gamers Chat and do a search.
