Xbox to PC (Evox) = 11Mbs
PC to Xbox (Evox) = 8Mbs

Xbox to PC (Ava) = 5.8Mbs
PC to Xbox (Ava) = Failed to Transfer (Cant write with 0.46.3 yet:()

Xbox to PC (XBMP) = 11Mbs
PC to Xbox (XBMP) = 8Mbs

Cables = 1x2meter cable (Cat5e), 1x10meter cable (Cat5e)
Hub = 5-Port E-Switch

FTP Program = FlashFXP
File USed = 700mb 8 Mile Xvid DVD Screener

Xbox HDD = 80Gig Barracuda V 8Mb Cache
PC HDD = 80Gig Barracuda IV 7200Rpm

Suprisingly, Evox and XBMP are almost identical in speeds. There overall times where very much the same. I noticed that with different sized files, different speeds occured. The larger the files, the faster it appeared. I was more surprised, it was quicker to download from the xbox to the PC then upload from PC to Xbox.

Ya now I know I have a prob with my network mines slow as hell.

Upload = ~24kb
Download = ~28kb

HDD : Seagate 7200RPM 10 GB
CABLE : CAT5, 6 ft.
FTP PROGRAM : WS_FTP Pro

use a different FTP program and the newest version of evox.
that usually fixes the problem.

sleeping.gif  downloading from the DVD.  Not tested HD and I only connect through an old 10mb soho hub which I think restricts it to half duplex also.

Are everyones stats to and from HD? dry.gif

from what I've seen, people with netgear switches have had 8.5MB/s and higher speeds.

I normally have between 7MB/s to 11MB/s

Yep, thats why most people are listing the Hard Drives LOL. I didnt even think of testing the DVD Speed transfers, but you cant transfer to it, so that would of been another give away.... unless if you replaced it with a burner, dunno if that would work uhh.gif

nah it wouldnt, its IDE wouldnt be set up to write there probably.... meh blink.gif

Replaced the entire chip my motherboard on my xbox is a real mess, i would advise anyone against even attempting to do this mod, i ended up spending 2 months once i got the chip on the board (well on a pcb hooked onto board) to get the thing working to an acceptable level, i've done plenty of other silly mods that really have no overall improvement rather than the wow thats cool factor
