perhaps the iso u want to create is over 4gb?, only ntfs supports this, and this would be win2000 and winxp, certainly NOT win95, 98se...etc

try upgrading ur OS

I've heard that GDFIMAGE only works on Win2k/NT and XP.

Just try downloading SimpleX ISo Creator. It can run on Win9x, and it is supposed to be faster and better in a few ways.

I would definitely recommend SimpleX ISO (or Craxtion 2.0, which uses SimpleX's ISO creation core).  However, you will still be limited to the 4GB filesize ceiling.

Yes you do need to format ntfs, it is no good just having xp, fat32 has the 4gb file size limit so format it. There is a tool in xp to do that, check the help files.
