Can I sodder the correct jumper points corresponding with the type of board I have in my xbox, then use mechassault load up game save hack, then just flash bios through Evo-X?

I have done this, and yes it works.

Just ftp everything where it needs to be first.

example:

evoxdash.xbe to 'c' root
your ini file to the 'c' root
and put the bios you are going to use in the gamesave folder for evox


reboot, flash, and reboot

then the alternate dash will boot, this way you know it worked.

You can also just go ahead and flash it, then boot to a CDRW that you configure to setup everything on C etc.

This way you don't need a computer.

The box I'm doing is a version 1.1 and I'm having trouble finding exactly what points I"m supposed to sodder.  Also.. can I use Xecutre 2_4976.02 bios? its 256kb.

The diagrams are in a tutorial in the tutorials section of this site. (forget which but I know ive seen them)

I'd say use x-ecuter 2 4977, unless you have a good reason to use 4976.  As for it being 256k, you have to make a 1 meg bios with 4 copies of that bios in it.  there are tutorials around.
