Well.. whoops!! I was doing the 007hack and was at the evo-x screen and I accidently hit the wrong button and choose to unlock my hd where I can't load the msdash and now I can't access the xbox or hd. I can't load up a original disc like 007 to re-change anything so, i took out the hd and hooked it up to the pc and it detects it but, not viewable which i understand but, how the heck do I lock my drive so, I can use this again. I thought i would be able to see it in explorer and just change the ini file settings but, I was wrong I guess.. Any help on what to do would be really great, thanks

oh.. i d/led the xbox hdd tool and got it to load but, comes up with invalid filesize error so, don't know if that helps.. I also tried load up dos and using the hdlock but, I don't know the password or anything that went with unlocking it. I'm new at this so, explain in easy detail what I need to do. Really appreciate it.. I screwed up my other box with the iron on the motherboard so, havn't it ruff right now..

well if you have ur tsop flashed then i dont think this would be a problem, unless u have some bios flashed that doesnt support unlocked hard drive, i would hope u have it flashed since you are posting in this forum *wrong forum nonetheless* do a search and see what error 13 is, i think it has something to do with the files in the xbox not if its locked but i'm not sure, look it up, i hope u have a backup of ur hard drive would make things go smoother just use HDDDRIver to restore

I'll try to be more clear. This is what I did.

I loaded the 007evo-x gamesave on xbox hd from memory card. Loaded 007 and then loaded gamesave. Evo-x came up and I scrolled down and installed evo-x and then went to settings and I was looking at the unlock and lock settings from evo-x and I believe I clicked on unlock where it disables the msdashboard bios. I didn't mean to exit the evo-x but, I did and after restart. It goes to this error page 15 I believe what it was. I can't even load the 007 org game to restart evo-x and change back settings. After removing the drive from xbox to pc. It states it's not unlocked but, then 15mins later I tried fat x explorer again and it said it found it but, then the program just dissappears after read hd.. I tried loading xbox hdd driver tool as well but, get a invalid filesize name error. If I could read the hd I could change the evox.ini setting back and that would solve the problem but, having troubles accessing the hd. Any suggestions? The only other thing someone suggested is to get a modded xbox rather with chip or flashed tsop and I thought I could swap hd's and load evo-x and change the settings that way? What do you think? No, I didn't flash the bios yet. I was getting ready to but, was curious what that option did and whoops.. guess I know now..

no you cant change the settings.

An xbox hdd and MB are married to each other. If you put it in another xbox, and lock it, it will only work in that one. The only solution is to use a mochip, and then relock that hdd, remove the chip, and then it will boot unmodded.

I have a shitty ass matrix lyin around for such occasions, check around, you can get one for around 20 bux now.

beg/steal/borrow a solderless chip and use it to relock your drive, then start over from the beginning (or spend some money and just stick with the chip)

that is right..you will need a modchip now...there is no other way around unless you have the original HD key backedup somewhere on the original XBOX HD and if that is the case you can just use another moded xbox to recover the missing key on ur original xbox HD

had the same problem last week, a fag brought a xbox and a 80gb hdd , he wanted me to switch the hdds for him, he told me his xbox was tsop flashed.
so i just unlocked hdd and then i was screwed , turned out to be the enigmah chip :/

so i had to desolder the enigmah chip(pain in the ass) then solder the evox chip, lock hdd, desolder modchip and tsop flash his xbox , that was a hell of a job

just buy a evox chip from chipeinbau.de , really good chips for just 14,95 buks

didnt you make the job harder on yourself? i mean you could have relocked that OG hard drive and then remove the enimah or kill pin 16 and 21 then just do the good ol 007 hack? seems that you just didnt think shit right =/
