That's a very nice looking screenpack.  I did however run into this yesterday. I've got it to run on the box, i just have not been able to test out all the characters. It's a 1400 character version, works great and looks likes it's done just like the Xtreme Xmugen2.0 setup so it's easily tweekable. here is the link.

its good to see there is still some interest in this.

so i am back in school, and during the week i am totally swamped. but this weekend i plan on trying something new.

i am going to look into a script that would be launched from the jwm or fluxbox window manager, that will kill the graphical environment then launch mugen. so that way those of you without keyboards can enjoy mugen with digital audio and better screenpack/character support.

this will hopefully be a temporary solution until a real solution can be found and then xdsl can be stripped down to a minlinux distro and repackaged as a mugen gaming distro.

xRavenx, I'm not too sure about the F drive vs E drive issues, but I do know from experience that the G drive issues are directly linked to what cluster size you format it with.  If you use XBPartitioner, then you know that unless you manually change it, it automatically adjusts the cluster size (32bit, 64, 128, etc) to the size of your partition.  When I first formatted my 750gig drive, I split it right down the middle between F & G, and XMugen wouldn't work on either partition.  Once I reformatted with the F with 129gigs (the original limit) and the rest to G, XMugen will work on F, but not on G.  Hope that helps.

Hmm..I had an idea...and if someone could help me, I'd greatly appreciate it..

The drag and drop distribution of xmugen, that R1sky created...which distro of Linux is it, I seriously doubt its XDSL...so if someone could tell me, I'd greatly appreciate it. For those whom never used xmugen, but messed around with linux. A young guy's face pops up, It states Linux Version 2.4.31 xbox by Chips...

Which distro of Linux is this?

Edit: Wait; I'm thinking it may be xdsl...just may be the loading screen is throwing me off...

Cool Reza.  I need to sift through what I have and send some your way to host too.  I was hoping to wait until this new setup was working, but it looks like that still might be awhile.  Bc have you had any time to look at this recently?

We should all really sign up on their forum and make subtle hints about it. biggrin.gif
and with subtle i mean subtle, just to voice the need for an xbox port.

Actually as nice as it would be to have a "true" port, we really only need a new linux release.  If that was done, you could literally swap the executable out with the old one in almost any setup and it would work fine, no need to reconfigure.

Personally I'd prefer a standalone Xbox Mugen, that way people can make their own games and just upload them and link 'm.

I never liked the whole Linux workaround thing.
