i done everything right until this point "Finally now we can flash the xbox TSOP. Make sure your switch is in the Vcc position" supposed to be ground position? anyway i followed the direction and flashed in vcc position and now i get evloution bios no matter if the switch is on ground or vcc.

i guess i flashed the bottom half instead of the top half of the bios, so no MS bios at all.... can it be fix? i mean can i get the original bios reflash to the other half?

thanks

the switch was installed right, the only problem is when i flashed the bios the switch was setted on Vcc and not ground

ground = top half Vcc = bottom half

anyways are there any way i can reflash the original bios to the bottom half?

if this is true then the entire bios was flashed.  if you only flashed once then the switch was not installed right.

if you really think the retail bios is in the top half: boot, switch to top half and run evox backup.  you will get a 1M copy of what is there (top 512k will be read twice).  copy the bios from backup dir to bios dir.  switch to bottom and flash.

personally I would check it with xbtool first to see what it really is.
