Sorry for ignoring you, your help is greatly appreciated.
So far, I've determined a few methoids of converting DirectDraw methoids to Direct3D. We could either have some DirectDraw7/Direct3D masters join the team, or I could just write software algorithms to relpace the DirectDraw. If you have ever read the book Tricks of the 3D game programming gurus, it should be a peice of cake.
Right now, I'm gonna get some DirectDraw7 tutorials and learn to master both DirectDraw7 and Direct3D8 to make it easier to convert the two and hopefully use hardware accelerated algorithms. If not, then I will use software algorithms. The software methoids won't exactly make it slow because adding and optimising for speed is quite easy acctually. But one thing is for sure, it won't look as good. If there are any of you that can write pixel shaders, then your help can be put to good use. Anyone who contributes will be credited in the highest honors.
