One word.. WOW !!
Everything is really working well.
The CDDA tracks (ogg files) really adds to the tension in the game. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I just tried this out and must say its coming along nice, the sound does make you get into it more and cant wait till you add any video/or any thing else into it, was it just me or did you add the pre configured-controls to the predator, thats the only character I tried Im guessing your going to do that with all 3 of them. good stuff none the less.

If you need me to beta-test anything in the future feel free to send it my way so far I havnt experienced any bugs

Are you using the latest AvP download (if there has been more than one)? Otherwise, try pressing different buttons on the joypad to exit the stats screen, as I think only one button causes the crash.

I can't check at the moment, since my XBox is at home, but AvP doesn't crash when I die, but it used to, exactly as you said, and I can't remember if I cured it by downloading a later XBox build of the game, or by simply pressing a different key to exit the stats screen.

I think I`ve got the latest build but i`ll try pressing another button, I`ve now completed the Marine campaign and it dosent crash nearly as much but the Alien campaign was an absolute bitch for crashing. I still can`t get the bonus missions for the Marine coz it crashes before I get the stats screen at the end part, but when I finished the Alien 1 I got the bonus missions.

Quick update: The Y button seems to work a lot better when at the stats screen, it only crashes 1/10. Has anybody completed the Marine Campaign and got the bonus missions coz I`ve tried every button and they all crash the game, is this a bug?.

Looking forward to a new release of this.
I downloaded it originally around the time it was released and fired it up to check it was working but I read it was a release "just to get something out there" so to speak so I never actually played it and thought I'd wait.
After the recent announcement of Ridley Scott doing a prequel to Alien (can't wait to see how they explain the Space Jockey) and watching Rebellion's new Predator trailer I was reminded of this project and  thought I'd check on the progress.
Will ogg be the only option or can flac also be used?

Hey guys,

Sorry. I know i'm taking ages to get stuff done here..

Forsaken port - possibly in the future.
If you're still getting crashes, could you email me a savegame just before it happens and i'll check it out. My email address should have been included with the download (i think..)
gilles9999 - is that at standard 640x480 resolution ingame?
flac support...not planned but maybe eventually if it's really useful.

and the same bug appears when i play in 720p on my hdtv
it's nothing related from the dashboard (i tryed to launch avp gold with unleash, same texts problems)
my xbox is set in ntsc 60hz,in a classic sdtv, really weird
