Well,

I wish I could have a solution for you, but unfortunately I don't.
Good luck, on your settings, man!!

If possible - in the future - try to migrate to a TV using component signal.
I bet you will love the results!

Best regards from the pixel land!

But does a S-Video cable get rid of the flicker, distortions and whatnot as well?

Hi,

S-Video is better than regular AV, but I really don't have the answer for
your question. I never tested a XBOX through S-Video connection.

Regards,
C.

Alright, thanks for your time and help, Cospefogo. I've been wandering in the dark because of this and now finally, some light has been shed on this mystery.

Haha, I asked a very simple question to Mr. butanebob about the S-Video question he posted to me in this thread, and three logins later – still no reply. I even asked him if he had the possibility to do so, but nope. Douchebag indeed.

Jesus fucking christ dude. your belligerent attitude right from the get go in your private messages caused me to take my time replying. Not five seconds after my original post you're pestering me with multiple PM's. I'm not on this forum to drop everything to help out arrogant impatient idiots who don't know what svideo is, or don't know how to use google  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

I had several suggestions for your issue too.

Sorry everyone else got dragged into this.

Hey Butane...
I agree with you.

This is a serious problem that happens frequently. People come to the forums asking for help without even search in Google first - and more - it is common by newbie people to think that experienced users who post here have the obligation to answer all requests on a fast time fashion. I like to help but I don't *work* here. I have more important things to do.

When something is really really hard to accomplish I agree that people should post a request in some forums and ask for help ---- but most of the time the laziness takes control of the whole person and they think it is easier to "force" other people to figure the things out for them.

Most of the knowledge I have on game screensizes, flicker issues, skinning emulators, hacking XBE's by hexadecimal, XBMC and many many other subjects I simply learn FROM GOOGLE, all by myself.

Google is powerful than Jesus Christ. Google is omnipresent, omnipotent and may Google bless us all!

Regards, Butane!

Wanna start lying? Fine by me. I can play that game too. When did I insult you in the PM:s? Let's go over those PM:s, shall we?

Hi. You asked me if I had an S-Video input on my TV. What about it?
QUOTE
Hi. You read my message and you've been logged in twice since then, without responding. Is there a problem?

I just asked a simple question in that previous message.

After that, you logged in a third time. Anyways, see any belligerent attitude there? Any insults? No, you don't. You know why? Because you're a lying fucking douchebag. Simple as that. Several suggestions? You've had one so far. Give us more bullshit, please. And when the hell did I ever say that I don't know what S-Video is? Wow. Not only are you a douchebag, but a fucking moron as well. Nice life, buddy.

Oh, and Cospefogo... if you're stupid enough to believe this lying cunt, you're a douchebag yourself. And look up facts before you post.

'Nuff said.

...sadly, the recent history repeats.
It's a pity. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Situation like this one just make good
people to keep away from posting.

We try to help and we are blamed in the end.
It's really a pity.

Yeah, you helped me with the flicker issue. I'm grateful for that. That's the God honest truth. But you lost all my respect when you took side with a lying asshole.

OK.
But let's end the off-topic issues here, please.

This topic is about Final Burn Legends configurations
for CPS1 and CPS2. I will be glad to help more people
with questions on *that specific subject*.

Sincerely,
Cospefogo.
