Well, v20 does seem to work better for me with the Ocelot Scene, more than 1% success rate. I'd recommend trying this version (with correct settings for the game).

Hermie Hopperhead: Scrap Panic

Running pcsxbox v21, core1.5, default settings. Booting BIN file from HDD. Runs perfectly, without problems - that I can see anyway.

The edit button seems to have vanished on my above post! Are you only allowed to edit something once?

Any way, I need to correct something. Hermie Hopperhead does not run perfectly. It boots fine and looks great and plays fine, but there's no background music in the actual stages. There's sound effects, and music on the title and on the map screen, but not in the actual levels - most strange! I've tried both SPU plugins but this doesn't change anything. Likewise, I've tried all the SPU tweak options and none of them enable sound. The BIN of the game works fine in epsxe170 though, and on actual hardware. For whatever reason pcsxbox can't play music. EDIT:
testing the edit... Hmm, or are you only allowed to edit within a certain period of time?

Nevermind cheema201...turns out there were some other default settings I had to change to fix the audio as well.  I found better settings for Metal Gear Solid (audio fix and intro fix)...gameplay is great: smile.gif

Metal Gear Solid (iso):
BIOS Mode: BIOS File
Core Version: 1.5
GPU Plugin Version: 1.16
SPU Plugin Version: 1.9
Set Graphic Fixes: Turn everything "Off"; except for Framelimit......leave Framelimit "ON",  Bit Depth=16
Set CPU Fixes: Everything should be "Off"

Set SPU Fixes:
-XA Sound= "On"
-XA Speed Fix= "On"..........this fixes the intro
-Reverb= "Simple"
-Interpolation = Gaussian/Good
-Wait CPU Action= "On"
-IRQ in Decoded Sound Buf= "Off"
-Sound Timer Method= "Original"........helps out the Wait CPU Action as "Threaded" makes audio too slow

Throttle Method= "Original"

OOPs.......turns out I left a setting out.  Just make sure that "Use old frame skipping" is turned ON under "Set graphics fixes" if using v21

Tested out my settings again today.  Sorry about that  happy.gif

Runs very well.
