Is there a compatible roms list for surreal64?

Seems like in the past I could never get GoldenEye/PerfectDark to work

My 128mb box will not play Perfect Dark on either of the three emus on B5.31. It just loads to a black screen and my box freezes. It may be just my rom tho as I have never got it to work on any xbox.

EDIT: I am gonna try this new version of the emu and report back.

goldeneye single player works on both my 64 and 128 mb xboxes
I play using ultrahle
however multiplayer freezes after a few kills

on perfect dark I always play using PJ64 and it plays on the 64mb xbox but not the 128mb
whereas B5 did play it
I dont play perfect dark on 1964 because on multiplayer i get the corrupt memory pack error and then theres no characters so when a match start it just freezes

In Tony Hawk what settings and plugins are you using?

Mempaks are going to be worked on for B5.5.

 The Deadzone feature modifies the XBOX_CONTROLLER_DEAD_ZONE raw value. It could be switched to a multiplier and act as a percentage, however 100% would be 32768 (the entire xbox controller range) and the percentage may not be what you assume it is. I agree it would be more user friendly, so I'll have it done.

The boxart are really .png's. We're just fooling the XXX GUI to render them with transparency. Any real cosmetic changes aren't likely as a new GUI is in the works, courtesy of Freakdave.

The Goldeneye multiplayer crash is a result of an audio buffer bug in UHLE. Freakdave has tried a few things with this but it seems to be rather tricky.

Perfect Dark on PJ64 for 128mb boxes is very puzzling to me. Since Ez0n3 reverted the rom paging method to the original method used in Surreal64 1.0, 128mb support dropped off. Unless I screwed something up while getting 128mb boxes to use the xxx method and overlooked it several times, I can't put my finger on it. There are still a few things I can try.

So what kinda audio buffer bug are we talking about?  Is the buffer getting caught in an endless loop or something?

Still working on the b5.4 ce compatibility list.....

So far there are huge improvement on:

WWF No Mercy (U)(!)
Toy Story 2 (E) (!)
Turok 2 (U) (!)

Some improvements on:

Goldeneye (U)(!)
Mario Party 2 (U) (!)

Small Improvements on:

Bangai-O (J)(!)

Problems with:

Jet Force Gemini (U)(!)
   (Best working Jet Force Gemini version for B5.4)

Problem:  
    -Can't shoot or run (strange unsolved problem)
    -Some textures missing (nothing to major, like the big square shadow)
Improvement:  
   -No longer crashes on intro scene
   -Good fps (menu and gameplay)

 huh.gif Which version:  the [b2],  the [b1][f2], the [b1][f1], the [b1], or the [!]


I've tried (U)[!], [b2], and both (E)(M4) versions.....so far (U)[!] is better.

the only thing i get with [b2] is the "kiosk" logo....then crashes.

To be honest, I can't remember which one I used to use, but at the time it worked
better than the others. I will try & get some time later on to have a look at the version.

UPDATE: I got perfect Dark to run on my 128mb box. It runs very choppy in PJ64 but a little better in 1964, however, I got a damaged mem pack error in 1964.

Goldeneye is much easier to control now. With a low dead zone setting I can keep the cross hairs smooth and keep the joystick sensitivity up. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I am using the new version: Surreal64 Xxx Ce B5.4

The comment box says: plays perfectly" for "Clay Fighter 63 1/3" &  "Clay Fighter sculptors Cut"
-"Clay Fighter sculptors Cut" froze on me at the very beginning.
-"Clay Fighter 63 1/3" : I got to a match and there was major texture glitches (like the ground flashing white, back and forth) and then it froze on me.

I am using the default, .ini that came with this build and I haven't modified anything.
Have you guys tried this? What is wrong with it? Just wanted to let you guys know my findings. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
EDIT: WCW NWO: Revenge froze "black" on me after the load screen

Although I love the new 3D Boxarts standard... Is it possible that you make and option to pic either 3d or 2d boxart?
I know this would require writing it in as well as someone remaking a new set of (good) 2d boxarts & renaming of course...

Is this a possibility for you guys? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Great to see a new release! Any idea if Pokemon Snap works yet? That and DK64 are the only N64 games left that I want on my Xbox.
