i'm also making videos for the video previews.....but they are official N64 TV commercials (most USA ones...which I think the Animal Crossing one is the only commercial that is not from US).

I can only cover 108 roms...for now

I did my best with editing them.

I managed to upload one of my commercials, so here is a taste of my work:

Though a smaller screen resolution is preferable.....as it will obviously increase the quality of the commercial

Yeah....I'm still trying to decide how I will be uploading the commercials. Don't know if I should do it through emuxtras' FTP, torrent, or on a certain website.

Btw...the folder is about 1.5 gbs, which contains 110 official N64 commercials

Some games don't have commercials...so gameplay videos will have to used for those particular games

I think torrent would be best, given the size. Just zip them up (with compression set to storage, as you won't get any level of compression worth having at all, since they are video files (and so are already compressed) so just use 'storage', which doesn't bother trying to compress them at all, just stores them all uncompressed in one .zip file) into one .zip file.

By the way, what program do you use to convert the video files to XBox format? What format do they need to be in?

Cbagy, have you uploaded the N64 gameplay videos?

Freakdave & co. - can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to this release! The high definition mode thing means nothing to me (I'm still an SD user), but aside from that I'm really keen to see this version. Checking this forum almost daily!

@clockface concerning the xmv converter,you need a toll called wmv to xmv converter.

It would be best to add the commercials to EmuXtras. Better to have everything in one place.

You'll be able to put a link up on the wiki for these sorts of things too.
