Hello everybody.  I've been back on the "scene" for about a month now.  I have made some improvements to the following games (which will be applied to the next Surreal64 version):

-Mario Tennis (E)(!) =  Runs with more mbs. Scenes in the intro and during championship mode now render.
                               Mario Tennis (U) (!) no longer crashes, but it has much more missing textures and
                                  glitches.

-Doom 64 (U)(!) =  No longer uses UltraHLE.  Uses PJ64 instead. No longer crashes during gameplay.
                         Only thing is that the lining view (or the "Atari looking" view) doesnt render correctly.
                          Gameplay is perfect.

-Tony Hawk Pro Skater (U)(!) = Added more settings to it.  Works almost perfectly.

-Killer Instinct Gold (U)(v1.2)(!) = No longer has annoying glitching in the menu...but it will still eventually
                                          crash during gameplay.  Gameplay is great though...until it crashes.

-Resident Evil 2 (U)(!) = No longer has annoying glitches. Has new settings.....yet still unplayable. Pause
                                      menu doesnt render, fmv doesnt render, and background setting during gameplay
                                      doesnt render. Only the cutscene after beginning a new game renders......and the
                                        main character, zombies, and fire in the street as well.

-Virtual Pro Wrestling 64 (J)(!) = Works perfectly with 1964. Now has default settings.

-Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 (J)(!) =  Works well with PJ64. Now has default settings.

I've added my own boxart for Virtual Pro Wrestling 64 and Virtual Pro Wrestling 2.....but they are not 3D boxarts. (So I might/might not release them for the next release of Surreal64)

I've also fixed the boxart for Bomberman 64 - The Second Attack....it should no longer use the Bomberman64 boxart.

So that's about it for now. Hopefully I get more games running better. It sure feels great to be back.biggrin.gif  happy.gif  smile.gif  cool.gif

We're only going to use the uniform 3D art, ask cbagy if he can make you one or if you can use his template.

Scorp, once you're done with the ini, we would appreciate it if you included all of your changes like you have posted. It will make for an easy INI Tweaks by Scorp316 section of the changelog

It's actually Shin Nihon Pro Wrestling 1 and 2.....but thanks anyways wink.gif

I've also added the boxarts into Surreal64. smile.gif

Both Shin Nihon roms dont work....as they need a video plugin. dry.gif

Those tapes don't affect gameplay at all anyway, I won't miss them too much wink.gif

Maybe Killer Instinct will get there someday  happy.gif

Surreal64 Updates:

Killer Instinct Gold= Is now playable, but has a bit of a slowdown.....main menu is still black......but it no longer crashes during gameplay.  I've even tried the 5-on-5 match (somehow)....still didnt crash.  Some minor glitches and missing textures...but still playable.


Blast Corps=  No longer runs like it is on crack. tongue.gif   Runs pretty well....except...i'm not sure but is the Jetpack level supposed to be a bit of a challenge to control?......well anyways at least it now runs at a descent speed.....and no longer has slowdown on the level selection (rotating Earth and space).

I am not sure about Gameshark sad.gif ......and I am not sure when the next Surreal64 will be released sad.gif

But hopefully....it will be soon enough biggrin.gif  smile.gif  cool.gif

Nope.  Still runs with 1964, and KI still doesn't run with PJ64.

I haven't released my updated.ini yet as it still needs a bit more improvement.  I don't think those are up-to date......unless i don't know if someone else is improving it.  

I guess they are worth a try unsure.gif

I think a new version of the emulator is coming out......not quite sure as well blink.gif

New Updates:

-Madden NFL '99 (U)(!)=  Plays almost perfectly.  Less stuttery audio w/ LLE RSP(main reason why it isn't perfect).  Fps is improved......seems to run normally.

-Madden NFL 2000 (U)(!)= Playable, but some slowdown.  Takes awhile to load into gameplay. Fps is improved, but faces some slowdown.  Less stuttery audio w/ LLE RSP.
