you could always risk it,

the WD's though do seem to be slightly less lockable than the others,

see if they have one in PCworld, try it, then get your money back and buy it from ebuyer !

personally though, i'd have a lookie for 200 gig drives people have had experiences with, possibly even jump up/down a little in capacity till you get one that can be locked!

i bought a seagate 200gb from compusa (the $100 after rebates deal) and it locked perfectly.

I've just installed one on my xbox and I was able to lock it. Part#WD2000BB

nikmeuang - where d'ya get it from? (I can make 100% sure it's the same one)

mirx999 - I'd prefer a Seagate but unfortunately can't find one on usual places in UK (ebuyer, aria etc). They only have WD and Maxtor, I've had more lockable WDs than Maxtors so would prefer to get one ..

bleugh - Already have a 160Gb

Can't wait tho as my 160Gb is full!
