Ok, Inherited a 1.1 xbox and here is my problem... When I turn it on it works fine, dashboard loads and I can play games from there with no problem. However, if for any reason I turn the xbox off via the power switch and then back on, it does the following things... Powers on for one second (green light and fans) and then shuts off for one second, powers on again and green light blinks 3 times. Powers off yet again for a second, then comes on again but blinks red/green. All this time, nothing comes on the screen. Now if I leave it sit for a couple minutes and then turn it on, it works fine again.
Has anyone seen this problem or can offer advice?
(Also once in a while it fails when loading a game from the dashboard when other times it does not. Also, the system hangs if I do say a reset or reboot from the dashboard or a game or via start/back/triggers)
