Making Intro Movies For Emulators
« on: May 14, 2010, 05:27:00 PM »

So I am trying to make a intro movie for a skin I am making... I made a little 40 frame animation I want to play out, but with some background music. So I used Windows Movie Maker to animate my still frames and add the music, but Windows Movie Maker saves video as WMV3 files, and you need WMV2 in order to convert to XMV to play on Xbox....

My question is, can someone recommend a program that will take still frames, animate them, and allow you to add music?? I Googled it and downloaded a few programs like Pencil and some others, but none of them allow for background music.

Any help would be appreciated smile.gif

EDIT

I forgot to mention, I tried to convert the WMV3 to WMV2 and it messes up the audio and makes the video really blurry and choppy.... The audio in particular is really bad, it puts about a 2 second delay on it. So converting it doesn't work.

I don't know the answer to your question, but you should be converting them to WMV8 if you want to make XMV files when you're done.

The format is still WMV2,  the video codec is WMV V8.
