Very happy to see progress on Surreal64. I'll be sure to get the update later today. Any improvements with Donkey Kong 64 or Paper Mario?

DK64 is playable in 1964 0.99 and 1.1 (we have 0.8.5) so you can expect that when A1.0 comes along...

The WWF No Mercy issue lies in a memory leak in the Basic audio plugin which freakdave is trying to find a work around.

If you don't know how to use Xbins, get Auto-Xbins instead, much easier.
Does all the connecting for you, all you do is go to the folder you want & download the
file you are after. If you can't find it, send me a pm and I'll give you a link.

Nice to see this emulator updated.  Keep up the good work.  This doesn't possible help with the gfx of Dr Mario 64 does it?

Good to hear that about DK64. I know we just got B5.3, but any idea of when A1.0 will be released?

And I just I tried Paper Mario myself and it's working much better than it was. Looks like Rice 6.12 helped the framerate quite a bit. In Surreal XXX 5.1, every time I tried to enter a battle, the framerate would drop really low (around 1-3 fps if I remember correctly) and battles would take forever to start. Now when I enter battles I get 30 fps (although I get some graphical and audio problems, but nothing that ruins the game). The game still has some minor graphical glitches and the main menu is still a bit slow, but the game runs great and my favorite N64 game is working on the Xbox smile.gif. Thanks for this update!

Can you give some more details about perfect dark on your box?
-Does the rom boot?
-If so where does it crash?
-Can you try a few different emulators and plugins?
-Was this working in B5.1?

The rom doesnt boot black screen
tried 10 or 12 different combination's
yes it was working in 5.1

Also goldeneye freezes in multiplayer just like in all other surreal versions before it
But the controls are way better! Much appreciated

unsure.gif What about Gameshark, Freakdave?

smile.gif Buckbumble works (no longer has the controller sensitivity issues)
Works like a charm.....I might have to improve the settings.
Brilliant work, Freakdave.

I hoped that the N64 Rom WWF No Mercy U V1.1 now works with the saves, but it don“t!
Could it have to do something with the Xbox RAM?

I get the same results as b5.1.....so no hope yet for the saving issue. sad.gif

My settings for Perfect Dark:

emu: 1964
video: 6.12 (5.10/5.31/5.60 take up more memory for unknown reasons)
audio: LLE rsp
max vid mem: 5
1964 dyna mem: 10
1964 paging mem: 1
boot the rom, wait a few seconds, then you should see some action..

That's very low priority atm, but it's still on my todo list
