smile.gif Here is the Surreal64 B5.31 CE compatiblity list....not all games are tested.  Many games like WWF Attitude, WWF Warzone, Banjo Kazooi, Buck Bumble, Mario Kart 64, Duke Nukem 64 and Zero Hour, and much more have been extensively tested and improved....meaning they do not crash and have been improved in some ways (some not completely as they may have glitches or slowdowns here and there).

ohmy.gif Note:  This list is based on a 64mb XBOX V1.0; don't know if the same settings apply to 128mb or more.

Click the "Surreal64 B5.31 CE compatibility list" name below (which will take you to my spreadsheet on google):  Might want to expand column C on the spreadsheet to the left a bit...sorry about that.
Surreal64 B5.31 CE compatibility list

I only updated "some" games.........Next week, I will resume my work on this list and hopefully post the updated list in 2-3 weeks;  dry.gif might take awhile to do them all.

Thanks Scorp!
I noticed for a few games you have Skip Frames enabled. Do you really see an improvement using this? I just use it to get past really slow parts (like the underwater maze in Majora's Mask.)
Granted it will say it's putting out more frames or the frame rate will appear to be steadier, but it is skipping 3 that should be rendered.

Yes, there is some improvement in a few games due to Skip Frames....my best example would be Duke Nukem 64.  Some games show a more steady fps.

However, some games, like Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire and WWF WRESTLEMANIA, don't work or experience extreme glitchiness with skip frames; so I suggest you turn it off for those games.  Sometimes using skip frames in slow parts can be successful, while othertimes it won't work or do much....it can also be your settings on the rom......which is why many of these roms take a lot of time to configure with descent settings.

just want to say thnx guys.  Just got my old system modded after reading many of the informative posts here, and got this emu up and running.  Love what you guys are doing with it and look forward to more updates from you guys.  Was curious if the surreal.ini has been updated since its posting to xbins at the first of the month, would love to get this thing running at its best for as many games as possible(mainly WWF No Mercy)

Hello everyone! I've been away from the xbox scene for quite some time and I am now trying to deck out my xbox before I head off to college this fall and take this badboy with me.  I was looking through the pages in this forum and am trying to find out if there is a link to the 3D boxart for all the N64 games? Or is it already included in the latest version of surreal xxx?

WWF No Mercy now uses the Azimer audio plugin. Basic audio does give the game better performance, but Azimer doesn't cut out on you. Playing with 1964.ini and Rice .ini's will probably yield better results. Expect this in  another update.

There are a few stragglers throughout the thread you'll have to find those yourself! tongue.gif
I wouldn't be surprised if they get released with B5.4  wink.gif

hmm.. yea good point there are some single player mods though as well... Anyone know how to get these patched games to work?

I stand corrected after alot of playing I was able to get the goldeneyeX patched rom to work on my 128mb xbox. Black screen on my 64mb 1.6 though sad.gif Since its pretty off topic I created a new thread here.

Nothing to exciting yet because it slows down a quite a bit but it is playing multiplayer without freezing

huh.gif Does anyone else have an issue with this new Surreal.ini on their XBOX?

dry.gif When I ftp this file to my Xbox and start Surreal64, it fails to find my roms that are currently in my E drive.  I have a Xbox v1.0......does this matter.  I followed the directions and deleted the old .ini folder on Surreal64.

happy.gif However, the other 3 files did successfully load on my xbox, but the Surreal.ini fails to do so.

You need to edit your rom path in the Surreal.ini file.  The default path is set to F:\Media\N64\Roms.   cool.gif

I edited the Surreal.ini and it crashes my 64mb xbox, as well.  I set the Rom Path to E:\Emulators\Surreal64\Roms\

I get the black screen of death......am I doing something wrong?

Try D:\Roms

If that doesn't work, delete surreal.ini and reupload the one that came with the release.

happy.gif Nevermind.....I fixed my problem....turns out that it should actually be:
 [Settings]Rom Path=E:\Emulators\Surreal64\Roms\Media Path=D:\..........

Somehow I added an extra space before "Media Path".

dry.gif Does anyone else have a freezing problem with Star Wars Shadows of the Empire (U)(V1.2)(!) using the new Surreal.ini?

I do......it freezes in the beginning of the intro.
