I too am interested to know if method works. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I also have an idea I wanted to bounce off of anyone listening in on this thread. It's kinda along these same lines, but without the soldering. Has anyone tried this:

1. Purchase a premade Classic NES remote that is USB ready: NES Controller from Amazon.com
2. Purchase an Xbox-to-USB adapter: Xbox-to-USB Adapter
3. Connect the two together into Port 1 of the Xbox
4. Configure the emulator to run the controller
5. Connect a standard Xbox controller in port 4 to maneuver the Xbox dashboard and emulator UI.

Is this possible? Has anyone successfully tried this? Any reasons this WOULDN'T work?

Well... Xbox controllers are actually USB once you take it down to wires... so this may be possible in theory. Its just about drivers and whether or not the Xbox will recognize your Frankenstein controller as a controller smile.gif I've been meaning to test this all out with some USB controllers and things.

Well, I figure that worse case scenario you'd have a USB controller for the PC/Mac emulators. smile.gif Hard to go wrong when you can use it in so many different ways....
