Towards the bottom of the list it shows parents replaced with clones. How is this done?
I though that if you removed the parents the clones wouldnt work ?

It's actually done by putting all of the parent roms into the file with the clone in Romcenter. I can't recall off the top of my head what the option is called, but you basically put every necessary rom in the clones as well.

If you use my datfiles, you can skip this step. If my dat is green with your roms, than the clones will play.

Awesome! That makes moving these around (if necessary) easy! AKA, no missing: 1.rom, 2.rom, etc

Yep.... I put the pack together so there were no unecessary dupes between FBL and CoinOPS as well. That saves about 1.3 GB for ya too.

The games I personally can't vouch for are the 1,200 non-console games included in the R5 recommended games datfile as I didn't take the time to test or document them. I just took it on faith that those games worked without any problems due to time constraints.

All roms that I tested in the spreadsheets should work perfectly.... unless noted otherwise.

Thanks ress, thats brill and thanks for the list and screenshots you've been a big help and its much appreciated. Just one more question for you, why have you replaced certain roms for the us version is it purely a preference or do they run better ?

What version romset should be checking with these? .84?

To get the CoinOPS stuff you'd be looking for a .84 romset for most of them. There are some exceptions, but not many.

For the FBL stuff, look for one of the more recent FBA romsets.
