Just finally used this with Video and Artwork previews now that I've finally wrapped up and converted the NES artwork after finishing all the last minute game adds.

It looks great.  cool.gif

Thanks for getting Time Lord working NES.

thats strange nes, i tried this on nestopia for pc as well with the same result and different roms. not trying to be anal just reporting on testing. ill have to upload a pic to show you what im talking about. lol.

if you can find the time send me a pm, i used verified good dumps and good tools with a no-go. either way thanks for your response bro, ill try to track down another verified good dump.

the graphics are fine until you get into the casino then you can see what im talking about to clarify a little better.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

EDIT** i tracked down a fixed rom, looks like this game was not dumped correctly and works fine in some emus and others it dont. anyways nevermind i found a working one. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

"Double click the Convert.bat file."

I know this is probably a stupid question (although my old history teacher used to always say "There no such thing as a stupid question"), but where do I find the "Convert.bat" file.

I think, (big emphasis on "think") that I have everything up to this point.

Whoa! I think I may have found it but just to make sure, is it in the "tools" file?

By the way, SUPER JOB on this!

Thanks, Rich

Well, I found the convert file and did everything as stated, but when the convert runs, it always shows "The system cannot find the path specified"

I checked and double-checked, and I did everything as stated --

I created a NestopiaScreenshots folder on my desktop

In that folder I created 2 folders, one ART and the other Convert

In the Convert folder I made four folders, 1 2 3 4

I then took the convert.bat file from the tools file in the Nestopia emulater and put it in the NestopiaScreenshots folder with the Art and Convert folders

I then double clicked it, and a DOS screen popped up showing it run through all the files, when I slowed it down to see what was happening I noticed that everyone of the files showed -- "The system cannot find the path specified"

What am I missing?

Again, thanks in advance.

Sounds like the Art folder is not setup correctly.

Did you download the correct art pack, extract it, and put all the sub folders (like 3D World Runner, 720, etc...) in the Art folder? The Art folder should have several hundred other folders in it. Each one is the name of a game. Each one has a 0001.png, 0002.png, 0003.png, etc....

Hi nes, Thanks for the reply.

I just checked the Art folder again, and yeah, it does have all the folders in it for all the games (a total of 1272 of them -- they aren't zipped) and when I go into any of the folders they have 4 png items. (With the exception of a few that only have 3)

Am I using the correct tool?

It's probably because you created everything on the Desktop. Move the NestopiaScreenShots folder to somewhere on your C drive. Then double click the convert.bat file again.

If that doesn't work, then

1) Extract the NestopiaX archive
2) Put all the artwork files in the tools\Art folder
3) Double click the tools\Convert.bat file.

Woohoo! Thanks nes, I owe you a beer!

I moved everything to the C drive and that still didn't work, so I did the second thing you told me (move the artwork to the tools/art folder in the NestopiaX archive) and it worked like a charm.

So, if you're ever down in Texas, I'm buying.

Thanks again, you've been a great help.
