Just figured I'd let everyone know that this emu does indeed play quite a few that Mednafenx doesn't...
Here's my list.
Emulator Errors in MednafenX-NES (Board Type Not Supported, Etc.):
Contra Fighter
Creatom
Donkey Kong Country IV
Final Combat
Great Wall
Hell Fighter
Jin Gwok Sei Chuen Saang
Magic Jewelry II
Magical Mathematics
Panda Prince
Pipe Mania (Pipes) - NEEDS VIDEO NOW!!!!
Rockball
Street Heroes
Strike Wolf - NEEDS VIDEO NOW!!!!!!!
Tiny Toon Adventures IV
Garbled Graphics / Freezes XBox in MednafenX-NES:
Bird Week
Chess Academy
Druid (Probably should replace video that flashes like the game plays in MednafenX)
Famicom Grand Prix - 3D Hot Rally
Hot Slots
Ninja Jajamaru
Space Hunter
Time Lord
Youkai Club - NEEDS VIDEO NOW!!!!!!!
The following games are the only ones in my set that don't work on either emulator. The error is either identical or slightly different than MednafenX, but still unplayable.
Dancing Block - Black screen on load.
Final Fantasy I & II translation - Still freezes when you talk to anybody in FFI. Not sure if II freezes too.
King of Fighters '97 - Black screen on load
King of Fighters '99 - Black screen on load
WWF Wrestlemania Challenge - Garbled graphics/freezes when you start match.
Zelda II Challenge - Says "Invalid File"
So...... Who wants to make 3 4 NES videos for these newly working games?
EDIT: I should also have an updated synopsis for everyone to throw into both NES emulators in the next week or so. In Nestopia, you'd overwrite synopsis.txt in the D:\info folder.
hey rx i had no issues with wwf wrestlemania challenge, you must have a bad rom. (IMG:

just tryed it yesterday without too much expectations (medna nes runs perfect for me)...
and damn! those ntsc filters are definetly great! i only play nes with them now (it looks excellent on a sdtv, haven't tryed yet on my hdtv), what can i say with all those features added? just thanks nes6502,n you gave us the perfect nes emulator, i can hardly explain but the games "look" more fluid and smooth with those ntsc filters, like a true nes in fact.
a question, perheaps stupid, but is there a way to put those ntsc filters in other xbox emus?(liker snes or genesis) or is it impossible?
i always been a fan of your work and still be; i wish you the best if you leave the scene nes, you gave us 3 of the best emus by far on the xbox (hope you will bring us some little surprises on the x1 who knows?)
You trully are a xbox 1 legend
it would be sweet to see these filters in other emus, possibly turbo-grafx and sega genesis, though i dont think they had dot crawl and flicker effects but the filters make a WORLD of difference.
