final burn legends and  both display in hd,bith in the gui and in the games.
final burn legends can display 1080i and coinops reignite is set at 720p hd.
the newest versions you will need are final burn legends 1.3 and coinops reignite r5.you will need version 1.1 of final burn legends though as 1.3 is a patch that you simply copy over the top of 1.1 with.

I just wanted to add a side note that some games can cause the emulator to crash in certain HD settings, so you will have to play around with it.

Thanks for the info guys.

So do both emus crash under certain games in hd mode ?
Also do i need both coinops and final burn or will one play/do almost everything just as good as the other?

FBL does not crash in any HD setting for almost any game. I only know of 2 games that do not work in HD. You will find far more than 2 in CoinOPS that will not work in HD.

No they are not equal. If you want to play CPS1, CPS2, NeoGeo, Cave, Konami, or Psykio use FBL. FBL is infinitly faster than CoinOPS and will let you use Software Filters in HD and still get 60 FPS for all of those games.

Anything else, use CoinOPS. CoinOPS supports more games but is much slower.

Yeah, CoinOPS in my opinion is good for the older Arcade games but anything that runs in FBL runs better in FBL as far as I have noticed.
